Econ Financial Services has a dedicated group of staff that specialise in different areas of the financial planning industry.

1. George Shahinian

   George Shahinian is the Managing director of Econ Financial Services Pty Ltd and has been assisting clients meet their financial objectives for over 10 years.

   George leads a small dynamic team of planners and administration staff and under his stewardship the business has grown exponentially for a number of years. He is passionate about providing superior customer service to our client base and continues to provide the business a positive momentum. George currently splits his time between his responsibilities as the director of Financial Planning and his role as the Superannuation Partner at Economos Pty Ltd Chartered Accountants. Away from work George spends most of his time with his family, playing basketball and golf.

2. Alex Dimos

   Alex has been working at Econ Financial Services for over 7 years and has assumed the role of Financial Planning Manager.

   He leads a small dynamic team who are committed to providing our clients with a superior brand of customer service and appropriate levels of technical expertise. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and has also completed the Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. He is currently completing his Certified Financial Planning qualification. Alex is a keen Wests Tigers rugby league fan and can be often seen on the hill at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney’s inner western suburbs.

3. Alfred Hung

   Alfred has been with the Economos Group for over 9 years. Over that time his role has transformed from providing taxation advice in the area of self managed superannuation fund through to being a financial adviser with Econ Financial Services.

   Being a Chartered Accountant as well as holding a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Alfred can provide clients with a tax effective solution for nearly all situations. Outside of the office, Alfred enjoys Tai Chi as a form of relaxation as well as mountain biking and various other sports.

4. Harry Kalaitzoglou

   Harry has completed a Bachelor of Science Degree (UNSW) and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning (Kaplan).

   Prior to this role, Harry was working in the life insurance and funds management industry for a period of 9 years. He is currently working towards his Certified Financial Planning program with the FPA. Harry’s role as a Life Insurance Adviser and Senior Para Planner involves evaluating a client’s situation and providing them with tailored solutions to help them meet their lifestyle and financial goals. When not at work, Harry enjoys teaching people to fly as a hobby or a profession and spending quality time with family and friends.

5. Jessica Brizuela

   Jessica joined the EFS team in February of 2006. She completed her Bachelor of Economics at the University of Wollongong and is close to completing the Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance.

   As the Relationship Manager at EFS, she provides specialist support to the team with her intimate knowledge of wrap products and the financial planning process. More importantly Jessica strives to provide clients with excellent customer service whenever they require assistance with the administration of their portfolios. Jessica loves watching Parramatta Eels win their games and brag about it. She also loves going to the gym and caring for her pets.




6. Sandy Yelda

   Sandy is the administration officer at Econ Financial Services and has been in this role for approximately 18 months. She is currently working her way to completing a diploma of financial services. Away from work Sandy enjoys motor bike riding, going to the movies and spending time with her family and friends.
